The facelifted Mahindra KUV100 NXT has officially gone on sale in India at an introductory price of Rs. 4.93 lakh to Rs. 7.42 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Mahindra and Mahindra says that the refreshed model comes with about 40 new updates and features which is why the company has rechristened it 'KUV100 NXT'. Of course, these updates will include a bunch of superficial and trivial changes but a considerable number of them are important and worth mentioning. So, we take a closer list at the feature list to break down the key differences between the new Mahindra KUV100 NXT and the older KUV100.
The Mahindra KUV100 NXT comes in five variants - K2, K2+, K4+, K6+, and K8
Variants
Previously, the Mahindra KUV100 came in four primary variants - K2, K4, K6 and K8, among these the K2, K4 and K6 variants came with a "+" option, which came with dual airbags and a couple of additional comfort features. Now, the company has removed the K4 and K6 variants and the KUV100 NXT comes in five variants - K2, K2+, K4+, K6+, and finally the top-end K8, which is loaded with all the features in the list.

Design and Styling
The overall design of the new Mahindra KUV100 NXT remains identical to the previous version, but the new styling gives the car a fresh appearance. It's the front of the car that has received a major makeover with the new front bumper with sharper lines, a larger central airdam with a new mesh grille, and a new pair of new foglamps that is fitted in a new black housing. There is also a more prominent silver faux skid plate up front along with a redesigned grille with longer and sleeker tooth-shaped chrome inserts. The sunglass shaped headlamp design remains unchanged but the cluster design has been revised and now you get nicer looking LED daytime running lights.

Design-wise, the profile of the car is same as before but compared to the older KUV100, the KUV100 NXT comes with fatter and more prominent plastic cladding along the wheel arches, side body and underbody to further emphasise its SUV character. There some new premium bits as well like - new 15-inch twin 5-spoke alloy wheels, and restyled ORVMs with integrated turn signal lights that weren't offered with the earlier model.
As for the rear, the updated KUV100 NXT comes with a revised tailgate with redesigned taillights that come in a new clear lens double barrel design instead to the red one used in the older model. The car comes with a new rear bumper as well that comes with plastic cladding only along the base and also housed a new silver skid plate. There are additional cladding around the reflectors and number plate housing.
Interior and Cabin Features
Similar to the exterior of the car, the cabin also comes with a fresh appearance. Mahindra has worked upon the dashboard of the new KUV100 NXT, which now looks a lot nicer compared to the previous one. While the steering and the layout are pretty much the same, we get a redesigned centre console which now features a brand new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system that comes with audio and visual playback and GPS navigation, that is similar to what you'll find in the XUV500. The console also includes an electronic temperature control panel, which means instead of the three dials now you get one single dial with buttons. The joystick-like gear lever remains unchanged.

You get black fabric seats with some design pattern, and new instrument cluster with gear shift alerts. Both the ORVMs and the tailgate latch is now electrically operable and you also get a new driver information system with voice alerts.
The safety features remain unchanged but you get ABS with EBD as standard across all variants and dual airbags from the K2+ variant and above. Other safety features include child lock, speed sensing door lock, and ISOFIX child seat mounts among others.
