Lyons Motor Car has announced the LM2 Streamliner supercar will soon be seen in the flesh. This is a car that can make 1676bhp and till date we have only witnessed computer renderings of the car but finally the car will make its debut at the New York Motor Show.

The LM2 Streamliner uses a carbon fiber body, so it is certain that the car will be extremely light weight. But it is what's under the hood that we're most interested in. The LM2 streamliner comes with a DOHC V8 with biturbo technology, generating 1676bhp and 2180 Nm of torque.

Power is transferred to all four wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The company has also shared the acceleration times which shows the supercar can sprint from 0 to 97 km/h in 2.2 seconds, while the 0-160 km/h run takes 4.1 seconds.

Lyons Motor Car was established in 2011 and is the first car manufacturer to be based in New York City in the last 70 years. The LM2 Streamliner was created to compete with luxury brands such as Bugatti, Pagani, Ferrari and Lamborghini.
