Jaguar has revealed the XE and XF R-Dynamic Black Editions for the UK. The new R-Dynamic Black Edition is based on the R-Dynamic S variant and brings gloss black elements to the exterior and interior, along with new features and equipment. Visual upgrades include the Black Pack with gloss black mirror caps and side sills, and 19-inch gloss black alloy wheels with red brake calipers. There's also the grille, grille surround, side window surrounds, fender vents, rear badges that get the gloss black treatment.

On the XF Sportbrake, the roof rails are also finished in black, while the panoramic roof and privacy glass on now standard. The Jaguar XE R-Dynamic Black is offered in select metallic colours - Firenze Red, Bluefire, Eiger Grey, Santorini Black and new Ostuni White. Meanwhile, the XF R-Dynamic Black is offered with a host of colour options.
Inside, the Jaguar XE R-Dynamic Black edition gets gloss grey ebony veneers, while the XF R-Dynamic Black gets a satin charcoal ash finish. Even the pedals are done in a bright metal finish, while the ambient lighting colour options can be expanded from 10 to 30. Both models now run the Pivi Pro infotainment system that brings Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity as standard, as well as access to a host of new features.

In terms of power, the R-Dynamic Black Editions use the 2.0-litre four-cylinder Ingenium petrol and diesel engines. The turbo petrol belts out 247 bhp on the rear-wheel-drive version, the all-wheel-drive version makes 296 bhp. The diesel motor gets a 48-volt mild-hybrid system as well for better performance and efficiency and develops 196 bhp on the standard version, while the mild hybrid version belts out 201 bhp. All engines are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The Jaguar XE and XF R-Dynamic Black Editions are specific to the UK for now but it will be interesting to see the models arrive in India too. Jaguar is yet to confirm the details on the same.
