Jackie Chan Becomes Owner of a Le Mans Team

Unlike the other actors, he won't be seen behind the wheel, but will be seen in the role of a team owner. Jackie Chan has acquired the DC Racing team as he takes on the new role of co-owner of the team. Now called BAXI DC Racing Team, it's tasted its share of success in the LMP3 class of the Asian Le Mans last season.
It in fact, the team dominated the season and took top honours. Using a Liger JS P3, Ho-Pin Tung, team co-founder David Cheng, and Frenchman Thomas Laurent took the team to a perfect four wins out of four races to take the championship in their class.
And now, the team is all set to make its debut on the largest stage of endurance racing in the world. Running as Sparkle Roll Group-Jackie Chan DC Racing, the team was announced as one of the entries for the upcoming 24 Hours of Le Mans in June as well as the full season of the World Endurance Championship (WEC). In the LMP2 Class, the team will have an Alpine A460 Nissan and Cheng and Tung will remain as the team's drivers. Their LMP2 Car mainly features an Oreca 05 Chassis, rebadged as an Alpine.
