Electric two-wheeler firm iVOOMi Energy announced its upcoming electric scooter will be revealed for a market debut on August 22, 2022. Possibly called iVOOMi JeetX, the new electric scooter will enter the high-speed electric scooter segment, which includes Ola S1 Pro, Bajaj Chetak, and TVS iQube Electric among others.  Although details are scarce now, expect the new electric scooter to feature all matte colours, with a modern design. The electric scooter from iVOOMI Energy will take shape at its R&D and engineering centre in Pune, Maharashtra.

iVOOMI currently has a commuter electric scooter called Jeet. We expect the upcoming electric scooter to be a long-range version.

Recently, iVOOMi Energy announced its plan to invest Rs. 200 crore to set up a new manufacturing unit at Pune that will enhance its research and development. Moreover, the new manufacturing unit will be a fully integrated electric two-wheeler plant that will be operational from March 2023. According to the company, the new plant will increase the company's production capability by 60,000-plus units a year taking annual production capacity to 2.4 lakh units from 1.8 lakh units a year. iVOOMi Energy aims to roll out more than 2 lakh units by the end of FY23.
