For 2018, Isuzu will be giving subtle updates to the D-Max V-Cross. We managed to get our hands on a few spyshots before the popular pickup will be unveiled at the 2018 Auto Expo to be held in February this year. Isuzu will introduce a new top-spec variant of the D-Max V-Cross as well. Till now, the SUV was available in just a single variant. The looks will remain the same more or less. The rear will get a re-designed tailgate, along with chrome bits on the bumper. There will be some LED graphics on the tail lamps as well.
The top-spec variant will have LED DRLs instead of fog lamps and will get added features such as anti-lock brakes (ABS) with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), brake assist, traction control and electronic stability control along with dual airbags as well. Isuzu will also update the interior with all-black leather upholstery and a six-way electrically powered driver seat. Also, Isuzu will now offer the 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system as standard on both models, which was an optional feature earlier. Those are the updates that we know of at the moment.
The Isuzu D-Max V-Cross pickup will continue to get the 2.5-litre diesel engine that makes 132 bhp of max power and 320 Nm of peak torque. We wish that the manual gearbox could be updated to a six-speed unit as opposed to the 5-speed unit that the SUV currently has. We will get more details about the 2018 D-Max V-Cross as the launch date comes closer.
