Indian Motorcycle Inaugurates its First Ever Dealership in India

The entire range of Indian Motorcycle: Indian Chief Classic, Indian Chief Vintage and Indian Chieftain will be made available at the Gurgaon based dealership. The dealership also has a merchandise section for visitors and customers that will display apparels and accessories.

    Indian Motorcycle, a wholly-owned division of Polaris Industries Inc., has finally opened its first ever dealership in the country. The showroom was inaugurated by Mr. Benett J. Morgan, President & Global Chief Operating Officer, Polaris Industries and Mr. Pankaj Dubey, MD, Polaris India Pvt. Ltd. (Also read: Indian Chief Classic Review)

    Located at B-10, Info City, Sector 34, Gurgaon, Haryana, the new dealership has display area for 9 motorcycles. The company said that the entire range of Indian Motorcycle: Indian Chief Classic, Indian Chief Vintage and Indian Chieftain will be made available at the dealership. The dealership also has a merchandise section for visitors and customers that will display apparels and accessories.

    "Motorcycles, apparel, and accessories will be displayed in a retail environment that is both premium and approachable. It will become a destination for riders and they will want to spend time interacting with the brand as well as the store," said Mr. Bennett J. Morgan, Global Chief Operating Officer, Polaris Industries Inc.

    America's first motorcycle company, Indian Motorcycle was founded in 1901 and went through lot of trouble post World II, and was shut down in 1953. During these years several organizations tried reviving the brand but failed. In 2011, Polaris acquired Indian Motorcycle Co, and unveiled the all-new range of Indian motorcycles in the USA.
