In a bid to promote professional Radio Controlled (RC) Car racing in India, a Mumbai-based club has built the country's first World Champion grade radio control racing track. Christened - RC X Racing, the race track will be officially inaugurated tomorrow, on January 9, in Pali Hill, Bandra, Mumbai. The track will be open to all learners, enthusiasts and professionals.

As mentioned earlier, RC X Racing is a highly professional racing track built for those who aspire to take their passion for RC cars and RC car racing to the next level. The materials used to build the tracks have been specially imported from Japan and have been specifically designed for Mini Z range of RC cars. The track is spread across 900 square feet and will be open all 7 days a week.

Coming to the type of cars that will be seen in this racing track, it will be Mini-Z, a brand name for a popular line of 1:27-scale electric radio-controlled cars manufactured by Kyosho Corporation, a Japanese manufacturer known for developing various radio-controlled devices. These RC cars come loaded with real world technologies like active rear suspension, active differential, adjustable caster / camber and a 4-channel transmitter. Moreover you can even upgrade these cars with additional parts to improve their performance.

Additionally RC X Racing also states that only cars and hop-up parts purchased through RC X Racing will be allowed to race on the track. This is in order to be able to sustain the track expenses and overheads. According to RC X Racing's page, the Kyosho Mini Z RC cars come with bodies that are all highly detailed, realistic, and fully painted with high gloss paint. In fact the bodies are so realistic that many are collected as display models and the bodies come with a dummy chassis and wheels for display purposes.

Apparently, RC X Racing is also planning to come up with similar racing tracks in other cities as well. The racers from different states will get a chance to compete in various state and national level competitions held at the facility. The best racers among these will get a chance to represent India in the International World Championship. Additionally the track will also cater to young children who have just entered the world of RC cars and give them a chance to learn in a professional environment.
