2019 Hyundai Veloster Teased Ahead Of Detroit Motor Show Debut

Hyundai started off the new year with a quirky teaser of the new generation Veloster, that will debut at the upcoming North American International Auto Show in Detroit. In the new teaser video, Hyundai has revealed the 2nd generation Veloster's profile, before lightning it up constantly changing LED. But, we can still manage to make out certain changes in the new generation model from the South Korean manufacturers.

At front, the 2019 Hyundai Veloster comes with a large hexagonal grille, with slim headlights resting on top of it. The hood appears to dip low, giving the Veloster a sleeker look. At rear, the 2019 Hyundai Veloster gains sharper edges than its predecessor and is complimented by large tail lights.

Under the hood, the new generation Hyundai Veloster will come with two engine options- a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing max power of 159 bhp, while the 1.6-litre turbocharged diesel engine will churn out 198 bhp of power. The petrol engine will come mated to a 6-Speed manual or a 6-Speed automatic gearbox, on the other hand, the diesel engine gets a 6-Speed manual or a 7-Speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
