Highlights

Hyundai has taken the wraps off the Veloster Midship concept at the Busan Motor Show which is held in South Korea. The company has created a two-seater Veloster which will feature a rear mid-engine layout.

The team in charge of developing this car is the same one that worked on the i20 WRC. The power unit has been installed right after the rear seats within the wheelbase so as to provide better weight distribution which will help improve handling capabilities.

Under the hood, the Veloster Midship concept gets a 2.0-litre, 4 cylinders, Theta GDI petrol unit which is capable of churning out 300bhp. The car also gets a lighter aluminium suspension, a strengthened chassis which puts in on the map as a mini supercar.

It will not however, see the light of production but as a concept it just blows your mind thinking about how it would do on the track.
