Hyundai Creta Receives Over 10,000 Advance Bookings

    The Hyundai Creta compact SUV is, unquestionably, one of the most-anticipated cars of this year, and proof of that lies in the fact that even before its launch over 10,000 people have booked the car. Scheduled to launch on July 21, 2015, the compact SUV has received over 28,500 enquiries.

    He added "The Global SUV Creta will herald a new chapter in Hyundai Motor India's success story and will set a new benchmark in the SUV segment of India with its unmatched capabilities. With Hyundai's strong vision for India, we will strengthen our commitment to the Indian market with the launch of Creta."

    Built on the new i20 hatchback platform, the Hyundai Creta takes its design inspiration from the the company's Fluidic 2.0 design philosophy. The vehicle will be made available with three engine options - a 1.4-litre CRDi diesel, a 1.6-litre CRDi diesel and a 1.6-litre VTVT petrol. All three engines also do duty on the Hyundai Verna.

    Key features on offer will be ABS, EBD, 4 airbags, LED daytime running lamps, 17-inch alloy wheels, roof-mounted spoiler, roof rails, three-spoke steering wheel with phone and audio control, touch-screen infotainment system, engine start-stop button and few others.

    With 4270mm legth, 1780mm width, 1630mm height and 2590mm of wheelbase, the Hyundai Creta is as spacious as its closest rivals Renault Duster and Nissan Terrano.
