Honda Mobilio's Sporty RS Variant Coming in September

Honda Cars India rolled out the Mobilio, its first MPV in India yesterday, and along with that, it also announced the impending arrival of the sporty looking RS variant in September, 2014. Priced at Rs 10.86 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Mobilio RS will be the top-end variant of the line-up.

    Honda Cars India rolled out the Mobilio, its first MPV in India yesterday, and along with that, it also announced the impending arrival of the sporty looking RS variant in September, 2014. Priced at Rs 10.86 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Mobilio RS will be the top-end variant of the line-up.

    The RS model of the 7-seater MPV gets sportier exterior and interior design as compared to the regular models. It features redesigned head-lamps with bi-focal projectors and LED daytime running lights. However, the most important difference between the regular Mobilio and the RS variant is a broad two slat chrome grille offered to the latter.

    The Mobilio RS also comes with larger rear and front bumpers; the one on the front also gets chrome garnishing and comparatively bigger fog-lamp enclosures. It also sports side skirts, new alloy wheels and ORVMs with turn blinkers. Moving on to the changes inside, it gets leather upholstery, illuminated door sills and an infotainment system with a 6.2-inch touchscreen.
