Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has updated the colour palette on the Dream Yuga for the 2016 model year. The110cc commuter motorcycle is now available in a new dual-tone Black with Athletic Blue Metallic’ colour scheme in addition to the existing colours that were previously available on the bike. The company is offering the new colour option at no additional cost.
Speaking on the introduction of the new colour scheme, Mr. Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Senior Vice-President, Sales and Marketing, HMSI said, “Customers are looking for more options in terms of modern styling and greater performance in the commuter segment. Dream Yuga leads Honda’s Dream series motorcycles which are proven, reliable, easy to maintain and highly fuel efficient. The new colour will bring in additional youthfulness to the Dream Yuga.”
Mechanically, the Honda Dream Yuga gets no updates for MY2016 with power coming from an 110cc air-cooled, 4-stroke, single-cylinder engine tuned to produce 8.25bhp of power and 8.63 Nm of torque. Power is channelled to the rear wheel via a four-speed transmission. Like all modern Honda two wheelers, the Dream Yuga also comes with HET (Honda Eco Technology) aimed to help provide higher fuel efficiency. Furthermore, the bike also comes with a viscous air filter, maintenance free battery and tubeless tyres for enhanced durability and lower maintenance.
The Honda Dram Yuga 110 currently is now available a total of 6 colours–Black with Athletic Blue Metallic, Pearl Amazing White, Black, Black with Radiant Red Metallic, Black with Heavy Grey Metallic and Sports Red. The company has been aggressive in the 100-110cc segment with its products having the complete Dream series as well as the Livo to compete with the offerings from Hero MotoCorp. The new colour addition comes just ahead of the festive season and is expected to fuel the company's sales further. Apart from the new colour option on the Dream Yuga, Honda has also introduced the CB Hornet 160R Special Edition in the country.
