Honda Amaze Facelift Spied; Gets Refreshed Cabin and Exterior Design
Highlights
Starting with its exteriors profile, the car comes with a redesigned front fascia that sports a new grille with larger chrome slats and a pair of new smoked headlamps. While the bonnet of the car looks well-designed and comes with some subtle character lines, the biggest anomaly in the design is the beefy front bumper that looks very much out of place with those large air intakes and wide airdam.
The side profile remains unchanged and comes with the same ORVMs and prominent character lines. The interior on the other hand looks refreshed and a lot better compared to the current model. The cabin gets a redesigned dashboard that looks sharper with new AC vents, restyled centre console with piano black finish and a sliver partitioning line on the passenger side of the dashboard. The Black/Beige colour scheme, three-spoke steering wheel and the gear lever have been retained from the current model.

Under the hood the car remains unchanged with will continue to offer the same 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine and 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel motor. The petrol version churns out a maximum power output of 87bhp and a peak torque of 109Nm, while the diesel version 99bhp of power and 200Nm of torque. The transmission duties will be handled by the same 5-speed manual and automatic unit that comes mated to the outgoing Honda Amaze. It is said that the engines have been tuned to offer better fuel efficiency.
