Hero MotoCorp Sold 10 Lakh Units in 37 Days

Highlights
Hero MotoCorp, the world's largest two-wheeler maker in terms of volume, claims to have sold over 1 million units in 37 days of the Diwali festive season this year. So on an average, over 27,000 Hero vehicles hit the roads every day during this festive season, which is a record that, possibly, no other two-wheeler maker in the world could ever do. However, we think that it wasn't the number of units that Hero dispatched to its dealers, but the vehicles delivered to buyers by its dealers during the claimed period.
To celebrate this achievement, Hero MotoCorp has announced new schemes and offers for customers. Starting from November 3 to November 10, 2014, consumers can avail 5 per cent discount on spare parts, 50 per cent discount on service labour along with free wash coupons. People who bought a Hero two wheeler between 25th September to 10th November 2014, will also get Hero Goodlife membership for free.
The company sold over 6 lakh units in September, 2014 recording an impressive Year-on-Year growth of 30 per cent. Whereas in October 2014, the company registered a decline of 8 per cent with 5.75 lakh sold units.
