Hero Destini 125 has gone on sale in India today and we have all the highlights from the launch here. The scooter was first revealed to us as the Duet 125, along with the Maestro Edge 125 scooter at the 2018 Auto Expo, but Hero has now decided to rename it to Destini. The new Hero Destini is the first 125 cc scooter from the company and will be the company's flagship scooter in India. Hero offers the new Destini 125 in two variants LX and VX, priced at Rs. 54,650 and Rs. 57,500 (ex-showroomrespectively.

The all-new Hero Destini 125 is based on the 110 cc versions of the Duet and comes with a host of new cosmetic upgrades along with several feature upgrades, along with a brand new engine, which has been tweaked to offer better low-end power for higher urban usability. The single-cylinder engine is tuned to produce 8.7 bhp at 6750 rpm and 10.2 Nm of peak torque at 5000 rpm.
The scooter also comes with optional front disc brake and Integrated Braking System (IBS). Other bits including a side stand indicator, cast wheels, underseat USB charger, and more. Hero's new scooters have been completely developed in-house at the company's Centre of Innovation and Technology (CIT) in Jaipur.
