Highlights

Hero has set the dice rolling with the launch of the Achiever 150 at Rs. 61,800 for the drum brakes variant and 62,800 for the one with disk brakes. This is the first of 15 launches scheduled before April, 2017 from Hero MotoCorp.

Hero MotoCorp says that the new Achiever 150 will be an all-new model featuring a new 150cc engine along with a more stylish design and many other features. One of the key offerings of the new Hero Achiever 150 will be the company's signature i3S or 'Idle Start Stop System' that will help the motorcycle to get more fuel efficiency in real world conditions.

The present generation of the Achiever 150 gets a 149.2cc engine which produces 13.4bhp and 12.8Nm of torque. The unit is linked to a 5-speed transmission. We believe that the Hero Achiever 150 will have an all-new design along with a decent list of features. We expect Hero to keep the pricing as competitive as possible.

As mentioned earlier, the Hero Achiever 150 will be going up against the current crop of 150cc motorcycles such as Bajaj V15, Honda CB Unicorn 150 and so on.
