The last year or so has seen a steep rise in the number of biking enthusiasts in India. To cater to the growing need of the more discerning biker, the subcontinent has seen a sudden influx of high-end motorcycles and motorcycle brands entering the market. One of the biggest names in the motorcycle industry, Harley-Davidson has been around in India for over 5 years now and has recently opened its 19th independent dealership in the city of Nagpur.

Nagpur joins a growing list of growing Tier II cities including Surat, Indore, Panjim, Jaipur, and Lucknow, to receive a Harley-Davidson dealership. This dealership is the American company's 9th in emerging and mini-metro cities in India and 4th in the state of Maharashtra.

Speaking about this new venture, Vikram Pawah, Managing Director of Harley-Davidson India said," We are excited to make inroads into Nagpur through the launch of our 19th independent dealership in the country. A dealership in Nagpur was a natural progression since Harley-Davidson is a much loved brand in the state with a large number of customers already present here. We are extending the reach of the Harley-Davidson brand to strengthen our presence in the western region with dealerships in key markets like Mumbai, Pune, Goa and now Nagpur. Our customers from Nagpur can now indulge in the Harley-Davidson experience in Nagpur instead of making a visit to Mumbai or Pune."

The new dealership, which has been christened Epicenter Harley-Davidson, will offer customers the entire range of Harley-Davidson motorcycles presently available in India. The line-up includes 12 models including the Dark Custom inspired Harley-Davidson Street 750, Harley-Davidson Iron 883, and the Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight. When at the dealership, customers can also choose from a catalogue of Harley-Davidson parts, accessories and miscellaneous merchandise including the newly launched Black Label Collection.
