GT-Force Unveils Three Electric Two-Wheelers At EV India Expo 2021

    Electric vehicle start-up GT-Force showcased three electric two-wheelers at the EV India Expo 2021 held at Expo Centre, Greater Noida. The GT-Drive electric scooter is in the high-speed electric scooter category, and has a top speed of 60 kmph, and range of 150 km on a single charge. The GT-Drive is offered with lithium-ion batteries and comes with three drive modes, economy, standard and a third mode called "turbo." The electric scooter also comes with a cruise control system. The GT-Drive Pro is an electric scooter in the low-speed category for short-distance travel, and comes with 75 km range, and a top speed of 25 kmph. The GT-Drive Pro is offered in two versions, with lead acid battery or lithium-ion battery.

    The GT-Drive Pro electric scooter is a low-speed electric scooter and is offered in two versions, either with a lead acid battery, or with lithium ion battery.

    Speaking at the unveiling of the electric two-wheelers, Mukesh Taneja, Co-founder & CEO, GT-Force said, "People are having the misconception that EVs might not be able to meet long distance travel requirements, or maybe they are inconvenient. All this is just because they have not really tried the products yet. Therefore, we are working hard towards making the product available in every nook and corner of the country. The team has put in all the efforts towards widening the network of distributors to connect with a larger audience."

    GT-Force also unveiled a prototype of the brand's first electric motorcycle at the EV India Expo 2021. The company says the upcoming electric motorcycle will be launched in the second half of the calendar year 2022. GT-Force has expanded its distributors network to 80 cities across the country with more than 100 dealerships. The company currently operates in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Rajasthan. The company says it has seven products in the market, and intends to expand its network to more than 150 distributors by the end of the current financial year.
