Fuel Prices Hiked Again; Diesel Breaches Rs. 100/Litre Mark In Bhopal

After a brief pause of one day, fuel prices have been increased on Tuesday across the country. According to details listed on the oil retailer's website, petrol rates in the national capital Delhi were hiked by 25 paise to Rs. 102.64 a litre, while diesel breached the Rs. 91-mark to reach an all-time high of Rs. 91.07 a litre, after a hike of 30 paise. Petrol rates in Bhopal have jumped to Rs. 111.14 a litre, while diesel has surpassed the Rs. 100-mark as it retails at Rs. 100.05 a litre.

In Mumbai, petrol is inching towards the Rs. 109-mark, currently retailing at Rs. 108.67 a litre while diesel costs Rs. 98.80. Petrol prices in Chennai have gone up to Rs. 100.23 a litre whereas diesel costs Rs. 95.59 a litre. Customers in Kolkata will now have to pay Rs. 103.36 a litre and Rs. 94.17 a litre for petrol and diesel respectively. In Hyderabad, petrol currently retails at Rs. 106.77 per litre, while diesel is priced at Rs. 99.37 per litre. The auto fuels in Bengaluru now cost Rs. 106.21 a litre and Rs. 96.66 a litre, respectively.

Fuel rates are the most expensive in Rajasthan's Sri Ganganagar where customers have to pay Rs. 114.61 a litre for petrol and Rs. 104.96 a litre for diesel. In Anuppur district of Madhya Pradesh, petrol retails at Rs. 113.96 a litre while is priced at Rs. 102.66 a litre. Customers in Maharashtra's Parbhani district will have to shell out Rs. 111.23 a litre and Rs. 99.75 a litre for petrol and diesel, respectively.
