The cars were met with great response upon launch, so much so that the Figo Aspire replaced Honda Amaze as the second best-selling compact sedan in the month following its launch. Moreover, Ford set a new benchmark in the respective segments by offering 6 airbags, which was a definite first-in-class and was also one of the reasons why the cars had a successful run initially.
Currently, the company manufactures the Figo twins at its new facility in Sanand, Gujarat. Since its launch, Ford India has sold close to 2,500 to 3,000 units of the Figo and Figo Aspire per month and their cumulative sales till now has been over 42,000 units.
