Highlights

Just like in FP1, Lewis Hamilton set the fastest time of the final practice session of the Monaco Grand Prix. On supersoft tyres for qualifying simulations, Hamilton set a time of 1:16.758.

It looked like Red Bull Racing driver Daniel Ricciardo had found some pace in the closing minutes of the session and for a while he was the among the first drivers who managed a time in the 1:16s. However, Hamilton came back with a vengeance and found some pace in the middle and final sector to go 0.05s clear of Ricciardo.

Nico Rosberg too during his flying lap looked to beat Ricciardo's time but that was not to be. Rosberg could only go third quickest with a 1:16.874.

It was good to see Sebastian Vettel driving with more confidence but still couldn't manage to go past team-mate Ricciardo's time. Vettel was 0.4s slower than Hamilton. Fernando Alonso finished fifth ahead of team-mate Kimi Raikkonen.

Qualification will begin soon and we will get you the latest updates.
