Highlights

Evanta Motors has taken the wraps off its new Barchetta model during the Goodwood Revival. The manufacturer says that the sports car is inspired by the design language of 1950s motorsport with sleek, sweeping curves and a low profile.

The company shared a picture of the car on their Twitter account and said that production will be limited to 148 units only. The vehicle will be hand-built in Britain using traditional coach-building methods. Two different versions are planned - one with a composite kevlar body and one with an aluminum body. The model will be commercialised in both left- and right-hand drive variants.

Under the hood, the Barchetta will be powered by a 6.2-litre V8 with an output of 450bhp. It's lighter, faster and a pretty car to look at.
