Electric RAM 1500 Pick Up Truck Teased

Stellantis is motoring along towards transitioning to being an conglomerate of electric car brands. Its RAM brand which is known for SUVs and pick up trucks has joined the party and teased an electric version of its RAM 1500 pickup truck which is scheduled to hit the market by 2024. The company has released a new video entitled "RAM revolution I first look" which shows a vehicle with a futuristic front typified by LED lights. In a series of tweets, the RAM twitter handle says, " Time to steal some thunder".

Now, it is not known if this is a concept version of the electric pickup or an advanced prototype or a production ready design. Stellantis had confirmed that work was going on in the EV segment for the RAM brand at its EV Day event in 2021. It will be likely offered in a full electric version and some kind of range extender version called Range Electric Paradigm Breaker. The car will be based on the STLA Frame platform which has plans of providing 800 km of range
