The new Panigale V2 weighs 179 kg, down from 193 kg on its predecessor

The Panigale V2 continues to be built on an aluminium monocoque frame with a double-sided swingarm. Suspension duties are handled by a 43 mm upside-down fork setup from Marzocchi and a rear monoshock setup from KYB, both fully adjustable. The V2 S variant, on the other hand, gets a fully adjustable suspension setup from Ohlins. In terms of braking, the motorcycle gets twin disc brakes with Brembo Monobloc M50 piston calipers up front, while the rear gets a single disc with dual-piston calipers. The new Panigale V2 weighs 179 kg, down from 193 kg on its predecessor, and has a 29 mm longer wheelbase than its predecessor. Opting for the V2 S variant, however, will further reduce weight by 3 kg.

The new styling cues on the Panigale V2 are in line with its higher-displacement sibling, the Panigale V4

On the cosmetic front, the new Panigale V2 now has a cleaner appearance, with the new angular twin headlamp setup, and softer body lines. The side fairing of the motorcycle now looks less cluttered with fewer cuts and creases. The tail section of the motorcycle now has a completely overlapping rear fender, with a smaller passenger seat than before. Another change is the different position of the twin exhaust, which is now situated under the seat, and is adjoined at the rear.
