Kawasaki has showcased a range of products at the ongoing EICMA 2021 motor show, including the improved 2022 Kawasaki H2 SX SE hyper-tourer. The refreshed model comes with a bunch of updates that include a range of advanced suite of electronics like - cruise control, collision detection, and blind-spot monitoring packaged together in a new Advanced Rider Assistance Systems (ARAS). Other minor but important updates made to the motorcycle include slightly wider seats for improved rider and pillion comfort, a USB charging port, and heated handgrips. The bike also comes with an updated fairing and a new TFT display.

The biggest update made to the motorcycle is the addition of the ARAS, which is a version of the same Bosch radar system used by Ducati, BMW and KTM. The system gets Adaptive Cruise Control, which maintains distance from the vehicle ahead according to rider preference through three settings - Near, Medium, and Far. The system can also be completely turned off. The bike also gets Forward Collision Warning, which is triggered and gives a visual warning is delivered if the pre-set distance suddenly closes in, and here too the warning can be set for early/medium/late activation or completely disengaged. Finally, the H2 SX SE also gets a Blind Spot Detection system that uses a rear-facing sensor to detect hard-to-see traffic behind and beside the motorcycle and alert the via the LEDs in the mirrors.

Visually, the new 2022 Kawasaki H2 SX SE now also comes with updated styling, including a redesigned front fairing, which has been reshaped to accommodate the ARAS unit and the new TFT display. Yes, the bike now gets a new, bigger 6.5-inch full-colour TFT screen, which can also connect to Spin, Kawasaki's new smartphone information app that offers you a tonne of information, including riding log or monitoring front brake pressure. The bike also comes with a resin intake silencer designed to reduce supercharger intake noise.

Kawasaki has also updated the KECS electronic suspension with Showa's Skyhook system, which offers an active real-time rebound damping adjustment system. The bike also comes with a new Bosch six-axis FI-ECU that monitors chassis orientation to modulate both power delivery and ABS response. The bike also comes with features like Vehicle Hold Assist and the Kawasaki Intelligent Proximity Activation Start System master key. The bike continues to be powered by the supercharged 998 cc in-line four-cylinder engine offering the same power output.
