Buying a Ducati just got sweeter as the Italian bike maker has announced a massive Rs. 90,000 discount on the entry-level Scrambler. The young and wild Ducati now starts at Rs. 6.07 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Founded in 1926, Ducati Motor celebrates its 90th anniversary this year and as an important milestone, has extended the celebrations to customers with the discount.
Ravi Avalur, Managing Director of Ducati India said: "In little less than two years, we have achieved great growth and our entire range has been very well received by the Indian market. We would like to thank our Ducatisti and Desmo Owners Clubs for making this a very special year for us."
The 90th Anniversary offer is valid on all four variants including the Scrambler Icon, Classic, Urban Enduro and Full Throttle, and can be availed until December 31, 2016.
If you still think financing is an issue, Ducati has made the purchase available via its partner Yes Bank, the schemes announced earlier this year are valid on these purchases. So Ducati customers can avail the options available today in the segment for periods up to seven years. Customers can also enjoy a special-scheme where up to three EMI payments will be reduced by Ducati. Eligible customers must be in cities where YES BANK has a presence.
The smallest offering from Ducati - the Scrambler draws power from an 803cc twin-cylinder engine tuned to produce 75bhp and 68Nm of torque paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike is not only a hoot to ride on tarmac but also knows how to have fun off road too.
Under this offer, the Scrambler Icon (Red) is available at INR 6,07,000 (ex-showroom Delhi) while the Scrambler Classic, Urban Enduro and Full Throttle are available at INR 7,28,000 (ex-showroom Delhi) until 31st December 2016.
