Highlights
David Brown Automotive, a UK based company, had expressed their intentions to enter into the automotive industry with a coupe that promises to stand out amongst its rivals. The company released three computer-generated images as teasers which offer glimpses of what its first car will look like.
The coupe will be underpinned by a modified Jaguar XKR platform and from what we can see, it borrows heavily from the Touring Superleggera-designed Aston Martin DB5. The engine that will power this car will be the Jaguar-sourced supercharged 5.0-litre V8 which powers the rear wheels and punches out 510bhp.
Dubbed as Project Judi, the aluminium body will see the car shed a lot of flab and it will be a mix of the old and the new. "I wanted all the impact and style of a classic sports car, but with modern capabilities and conveniences. This is what I want in a car, but it's not something anyone really offers. So, I've created it myself.", says company founder, David Brown.
David Brown Automotive will unveil the car at the Top Marques show in Monaco in April. More will be revealed soon and we will have all the updates for you.
