Datsun Unveils GO-Cross Concept
Highlights
Of course a crossover is never complete without adding a bit of ruggedness to the design and hence there's plastic body cladding, big round fog lamps and a massive rear diffuser. The GO-Cross, is based on the GO+ MPV and according to the people at Datsun, the car is just a design exercise, but considering how close a concept it is to reality, we won't be surprised to see it on the production assembly soon.

Given that it's a concept, Datsun hasn't revealed any technical details on the GO-Cross concept but the concept clearly tells us the direction that the products are taking. We've already seen the company bring the sub-compact MPV GO+ to India which was a first-in-segment and bringing the GO-Cross could very well mark another niche segment in the making.
The company already has a small car in the making which will be based on the Redi-GO concept which was showcased at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo. With more launches scheduled for 2016, Datsun seems to on track to enter new segments in growing markets.
