Citroen Divine DS Concept Revealed
Highlights
Citroen has released the first details about the Divine DS concept, ahead of its debut at the Paris Motor Show. The Divine DS will preview the future styling direction of the DS brand.
The Divine DS is a sporty five-door hatchback and features a prominent front grille flanked by LED head-lamps. This is clearly a very futuristic approach when it comes to design, but there is one feature that differentiates it from the other concepts. The Divine DS eschews a rear window and instead adopts a rearview camera that displays images onto a digital rearview mirror.
The cabin was jointly developed with Swarovski and features four individual seats which are separated by a full-length center console. The concept sits on 20-inch alloy wheels featuring a floating spoke design, while inside the high-tech cabin there's an HD Touch Drive interface with a 10.4-inch multi-function touchscreen display that also acts as the rearview mirror. The cabin's elegant seats feature a DS watch strap design and have been covered in full-grain aniline leather.
Power comes from a 4-cylinder 1.6-litre THP turbocharged petrol engine which is Euro-6 compliant. the engine is capable of putting out 265bhp and developing 330Nm torque between 1,900 and 5,500 rpm which enables the concept to have CO2 emissions of only 145G/km.
