Cars 3 on the cards says Disney Pixar
Highlights
I really enjoyed the animated movie - Cars when it first came out. It was a revolution in the world of not only animation but also in the way we understood cars. Talking cars was not an accepted reality however we did have Herbie (for all practical purposes). But it was Disney Pixar who brought this concept to life, gave machines a voice and drew all kinds of crowds to the theatre, all thanks to Cars.
The first installment of the film did wonders and the second one did alright. But what was great about Cars 2 was that it drew in voiceovers from F1 drivers like Micheal Schumacher, Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso, Jenson Button and many more. In fact the UK version of Cars 2 also featured the voice of Top Gear veteran Jeremy Clarkson.
Bob Iger, Disney President confirmed at the Disney Investor's meeting, that there will be an addition to the Cars franchise and Cars 3 will go under production soon. We still do not know when that will happen but we expect Lightning McQueen (Owen Wilson) to be at the centre of things again.
More will be known once the film is actually in the making and we will have all the information for you.
