    Brabham Automobile is making a comeback of sorts in the automotive sector with the BT62 supercar and the company is quite excited about it. How we know? Well, the number of teaser images in the past month speaks for itself, and why not, the British carmakers are coming back in to the field after a long hiatus, as 2018 also marks seventy years since Sir Jack Brabham, Founder of Brabham Racing, made his competition debut in 1948. The folks at Brabham Automotive say that the new BT62 supercar pays tribute to Brabham's enduring legacy and sets a precedent for the future as the marque enters an exciting new era.

    Speaking ahead of the reveal, multiple Le Mans winner and Managing Director of Brabham Automotive said, "Having driven, raced and won in a host of world-class cars during my 35-year racing career, I knew exactly what I wanted from the BT62. A car like this should inspire, challenge and reward its driver in equal measures, and I'm delighted with what we have achieved."

    Brabham Automotive have limited the production of the BT62 supercar to only 70 units at a staggering price of £1 million (Rs. 9.18 crore) plus local taxes. Well, if reports are to be believed, then almost all of the Bt62's have been already sold off to private customers barring a few. Powering the BT62 will be a 5.4-litre, naturally-aspirated V8 engine that does close to 720 bhp of max power. While we don't have more details of the BT62 as of yet, everything about the supercar will be revealed on May 2 as Brabham Automotive will take the wraps of the BT62 supercar.
