The Car- This 1977 classic is thrilling and unforgettable, with the premise being a small town terrorized by a hellish black car. The car does a lot of things that normal vehicles can never think of doing! This Elliot Silverstein horror movie was a cult film over the years.
Drive- The 2011 movie is not as iconic but director Nicolas Winding Refn used Ryan Gosling to great effect. Gosling played a getaway-stunt driver in this flick, while the soundtrack was to die for!
Thunder Road- The 1958 movie is a noir classic set in the backdrop of illegal moonshiners in the mountains. Robert Mitchum is a veterinarian working as an illegal transporter, using cars to transport whisky to the distribution point from its source. The movie is famous for showcasing some of the best cars ever!
The Italian Job- Undoubtedly one of the most iconic movies of all time, this 1969 Michael Caine classic showcases the grand heist for making off with $4 million in gold bullion of the Mafia using Mini Coopers in Turin. It is a charming movie with a fantastic jazz background by Quincy Jones. In an era before the Fast and Furious, this was the go-to car movie for enthusiasts.
The Transporter- The 2002 movie had Jason Statham playing a highly skilled car driver, paid for cargo transport, without asking any questions. The movie was one of the biggest hits over the years although the initial reception was lukewarm when it released. And the cars of course! They are something worth beholding today!
