Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6 Concept Wows Geneva
Highlights
It has become rare to be surprised at a Motor Show these days, with most carmakers choosing to announce/release/launch/unveil cars and concepts prior to the show itself. And which is why I have to begin this by talking about Bentley. The Crewe-based company has kicked off the 2015 Geneva Motor with quite a stylish bang. The EXP 10 Speed 6 is a baby Continental GT if you will.
The two-seater sports coupe will likely go into production, even though Bentley refuses to confirm that at this time. The car is seemingly aimed at offering a more focused, performance-oriented car that will take on rivals like Ferrari, McLaren and even cousin Porsche more directly.
The Bentley concept is a genuinely welcome surprise, as it not only gives us a stunning concept, but one that signals a new direction for the Bentley brand. Yes of course I know the SUV is coming too - and well before a production version of the EXP 10 Speed 6 would ever see light of day. Even so, the concept is bold, stylish and one that also shows off extremely high-quality interior trim that exudes a handcrafted feel. Expect Bentley to talk a lot more about this concept through this year! And yes I firmly believe it previews a 2-seater sports car that is clearly already in the Bentley pipeline.
