Recently a test mule of the soon-to-be-launched Bajaj Pulsar 150 NS was spotted testing in Chakan, Maharashtra. The bike, which was completely camouflaged, was caught in a video shot by an enthusiast. To tell you the truth, the Pulsar 150 NS has been a rare sight for a long time and its recent appearance has revealed some key details about it. For instance, the bike is slightly leaner than the Plusar 200 NS, it misses out on a rear disc brake and the crankcase also seems to have changed.

In the past few months there have been many speculations about the launch of the all-new Pulsar 150 NS. Initially the bike was supposed to be launched towards the end of 2015 but that did not happen. Later it was said that the bike might be launched in the first quarter of 2016, but Bajaj launched the all-new V15 instead. There have been reports earlier this year suggesting that Bajaj has already begun the production of the Pulsar 150 NS for export markets, which indicates the bike won't take too long to go on sale in India as well.

Coming to the bike itself, the new Pulsar 150 NS takes design and styling cues both from its elder sibling, the Pulsar 200NS and the Pulsar AS 150 as well. Like the 200 NS, the 150 NS also gets a rear tyre hugger with a similar tail section, horn-style grab rails and a similar number plate holder as well. Other features will include a perimeter frame, 240 mm disc brake for the front wheel, a large chiselled 12-litre tank, and clip-on handle bars among others.

Coming to the engine department, the Pulsar 150 NS will share its powertrain with the Pulsar AS 150 that comes with a 149.5 cc air-cooled DTS-i engine that is capable of producing 17bhp of maximum power at 9500rpm and 13Nm of peak torque at 7000rpm. As for the price we believe the bike will be priced somewhere between Rs. 74000 to Rs. 77000 (ex-showroom Delhi).
