All-New Audi Q5 Gets 500 Bookings Within A Month Of Its Launch

Audi has got 500 bookings for the all-new Q5 in India within a month of its launch. The deliveries of the new Q5 are yet to begin, with the first cars scheduled to be delivered by the first week of March, 2018.

Audi has released a statement saying that its newest SUV, the all-new Q5, has garnered 500 bookings in one month since its launch on 18 January, 2018. The new Q5 has two variants, which are the 'Premium Plus and Technology'. The Premium Plus model is priced at Rs. 53.25 lakh while the Technology model is priced at Rs. 57.6 lakh (Ex-showroom). We have already driven the new Q5 and we believe that the fit and finish on the car is rather impressive along with the long list of features. The performance of the car too is at par with its rivals in the segment, with a company claimed top speed of 218 kmph and a 0-100 kmph sprint time of 7.9 seconds. Audi also says that the new Q5 has a claimed fuel efficiency of 17.01 kmpl.

The new Q5 features a new 2.0-litre TDI engine which makes 187 bhp at 3,800 - 4,000 rpm and a peak torque of 400 Nm at 1,750 - 4,000 rpm. Audi's patented Quattro all-wheel drive system is offered as standard fitment. At present, the SUV is available only with a diesel engine while the company might introduce a new petrol engine variant sometime in the future.
