A Cruise Ship With a Race Track

A race track is a place that thrills anyone and it's the place where you put on your competition face and try to show off your skills, but will all that change if you got to race on a ship? Yes, you read that right, a ship. There is a race track on a ship, albeit a small one and meant only for go-karts but still, that's a great place to start.

A race track is a place that thrills anyone and it's the place where you put on your competition face and try to show off your skills, but will all that change if you got to race on a ship? Yes, you read that right, a ship. There is a race track on a ship, albeit a small one and meant only for go-karts but still, that's a great place to start.

The track is on what's billed to be the 'most innovative and luxurious ship' ever created. It's called Joy and designed exclusively for Chinese guests. The cruise ship will have a number of automotive-themed activities including the aforementioned race track as well as a professional race car that has been converted into a state-of-the-art racing simulator.

The cruise ship is big enough to accommodate 3900 guests and there are many other activities on board the ship to entertain these people. While details of the racetrack haven't been shared yet, from what we can see in this rendition, it's more or less like your regular go-kart track. From the looks of it you can't really do high speed stuff here but we don't rule out wheel-to-wheel action.

For those wanting to have some more fun there are also hovercraft bumper cars as well as assortment of car and flight simulators. There's a lot to look forward to then on a cruise now, with the on-track excitement taken to the sea. This just goes to show the craze for the sport and trust the Chinese to do something that everyone dreams about. Even if you're out at sea, you'll never be far away from a race-track.
