34 Triumph Daytona 675Rs Recalled for Faulty Suspension
Triumph has recalled 34 Daytona 675R superbikes to replace the universal steering dampers and the Ohlins TTX36 rear monoshock. The recall however, isn't the fault of Triumph Motorcyles

Ohlins say that the piston rod nut might have been tightened before the piston had full metal-to-metal contact. This could as a result lead to the nut loosening which would hamper the rear suspension movement. This could also result in a fatal crash.
The bikes affected are the units manufactured between 2013 and 2015. The replacement of these parts will be made free of cost. But it is not just the Daytona that has been affected in this global recall. Superbikes like the Yamaha R1M and the Honda CBR1000RR SP are also among the affected lot.
