Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has launched the new-generation Glanza hatchback and prices begin from Rs. 6.39 lakh, going up to Rs. 9.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new Glanza gets an all-new and sportier design language, while the model has been heavily updated over its predecessor sporting a host of new features, improved styling and a more fuel-efficient engine as well. Do note, the new Toyota Glanza is a rebadged Maruti Suzuki Baleno under the Suzuki-Toyota partnership, but the automaker has gone the extra mile to give the Glanza its own visual identity this time around. Bookings for the new Glanza have been open for a while now, while deliveries will begin soon.

2022 Toyota Glanza Prices

The 2022 Toyota Glanza gets a wider grille with a chrome accent in the centre. The bumper gets an angular look with C-shaped chrome inserts and a wide air intake. The swept-up headlamps come with LED DRLs, while the bonnet gets muscular haunches for a sporty look. The profile remains the same as the Baleno, while the rear gets C-shaped LED taillights carried over from the hatchback. The model rides on 16-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the cabin has been carried over from the Baleno and gets the bigger and advanced 9-inch SmartPlay Pro Plus infotainment system. The new offering comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and also gets over 40 connected car features. Toyota also offers Alexa assistance, a head-up display (HUD), Arkamys tuned sound system, a 360-degree view camera, rear AC vents and more. Power comes from the 1.2-litre K-Series petrol engine. The VVT motor develops 88 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 113 Nm of peak torque at 4,400 rpm and is paired with a 5-speed manual and an AMT unit.

Toyota is offering a warranty of 3 years/100,000 km with the option to opt for an extended warranty of up to 5 years/220,000 km. The company also offers periodic service in just 60 minutes via EM60, benefits from Roadside Assistance, and more. The new Toyota Glanza will rival the likes of the Hyundai i20, Tata Altroz, Honda Jazz and the Maruti Suzuki Baleno.
