BMW M8 Competition Gran Coupe

Getting straight off to the figures, the BMW M8 Competition Coupe, Convertible, and Gran Coupe are powered by a 4.4-litre, V8 engine with M TwinPower Turbo that develops 617bhp and 750 Nm of peak torque, while the transmission duties are handled by an 8-speed M Steptronic unit, sending power to all the wheels, which allows the performance vehicle to accelerate to 100kmph in blistering 3 seconds and tops up at 306kmph, with the M Driver's Package. BMW says the handling of the M8 Competition range is improved slightly with inputs from the M8 GTE racing car, while the Adaptive M Suspension uses data from body movement, road surface conditions, and steering input to adjust each damper individually within milliseconds using electromagnetic valves, making it a capable partner on the asphalt as well as roads.
