Ducati India has been teasing the launch of its new Ducati Hypermotard 950, with an updated BS6/Euro 5 engine. The updated Hypermotard 950 will be launched on November 10, 2021, and will get the updated 937 cc, Testastretta engine, which it shares with the Ducati Multistrada V2, new Monster and the SuperSport 950. The new Hypermotard 950 comes with an updated electronics suite powered by an inertial measurement unit, featuring wheelie control, traction control and cornering ABS. It comes with three riding modes, Sport, Touring and Urban, all of which are fully customisable. The new Hypermotard 950 also gets some changes to the 6-speed gearbox, and globally, it's available in a couple of variants, including a base variant and a higher-spec SP variant. There's also a third variant called the RVE which gets a cool-looking graffiti-style paintjob.

The SP variant continues to get top-shelf 48 mm Ohlins USDs at the front and an Ohlins monoshock at the rear along with lightweight Marchesini wheels wrapped in Pirelli Diablo SuperCorsa rubber. The SP variant also gets carbon fibre bits such as front mudguard and timing belt covers. The other two variants - RVE and standard get 45 mm Marzocchi front forks and Sachs monoshock along with Pirelli Diablo Rosso III rubber and regular alloys. The standard variant gets all the electronic rider aids, but misses out on the standard quickshifter on the SP and RVE variants.

In India, all three variants are not likely to be launched, and as social media posts seem to indicate, Ducati India is likely to just introduce the SP variant of the new Hypermotard 950, and expected to be priced at around Rs. 14 lakh (Ex-showroom). More details will be announced once the new Hypermotard 950 is launched.
