The next generation Volvo S60 sedan is the latest model to be based on the automaker's Scalable Product Architecture (SPA). The same platform underpins other Volvo cars as well including the 60 and the larger 90 series. The picture tweeted by Samuelsson reveals the new imposing hood on the sedan with the Thor's Hammer-styled LED DRLs. The wide grille also takes prominence, as seen on the test mule. Given the V60 and S60 will be identical, expect to see a host of design concepts to be similar, while the rear is likely to get the C-shaped LED taillights inspired from the S90.
