Roomzz electric study, Teramont X SUV which is production ready and finally, the Volkswagen SUV Coupe Concept. Yes! That's what it is called, SUV Coupe concept. The overall looks of the car are muscular with the front end getting a wide grille with double-C shaped chrome strip on the muscular front bumper and smart-looking LED headlamps. The silhouette of course is that of a coupe SUV with a sloping roofline at the rear, making for a stylish looking SUV. It could actually be called a more stylish version of the China-only Tayron SUV. The Volkswagen SUV Coupe concept is built on a modular transverse platform and will be catering to the Chinese market, specifically the middle to upper end of the SUV market in China. Volkswagen also said that it is looking to double its SUV portfolio from the current six to at least 12 models by 2020 which will be manufactured in collaboration with FAW and SAIC Volkswagen. Although Volkswagen hasn't given a timeline for the launch of the Coupe SUV concept, we believe it will be launched in China either by the end of 2019 or early 2020.
