A lot has been said about the BMW 7-series and now the company has announced that the 2016 BMW 7-series will be unveiled on June 10. The flagship sedan from the BMW stable will boast of an evolutionary design which will see it take on the likes of the Mercedes-Benz S Class and the Audi A8.
BMW had previewed the car back in April and now the company has teased the car in a short video. The front fascia boasts of a prominent grille and yes, BMW has given it the laserlight headlamps. What is a bit more prominent in this video is the slender tail lamps which come with an integrated chrome trim.
Most of the details are under wraps but the company had mentioned long back that the the new one will be 130kg lighter than its predecessor and that is all thanks to the 'Carbon Core' body structure that BMW uses. The new 7-series will see the use of carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic which will optimize the not only the weight but will also play a huge role in ride and handling.
There are other highlights in the car like remote parking system and an iDrive Touch Display infotainment system with gesture control technology but we will know more when the car is revealed, so stay tuned!
