Highlights
Skoda has already revealed the look of the all-new Fabia and now they've given us a sneak peek into what the car will be like on the inside. This is the first glimpse of the 2015 Skoda Fabia that will eventually make its way to India.
As observed in the picture, the new Fabia gets the typical Skoda configuration. The layout is simple, yet functional and Skoda has managed to increase the elbow room by 21mm to 1401mm in the front, and by 2mm to 1386mm in the rear.
This third-gen Skoda thrives on space and the company has made sure that there is enough and more. Boot-space now stands at 330 litres, an addition of 15 litres as compared to the previous model. You can also fold down the rear seats, increasing the loading capacity to 1,150 litres.
Skoda says that the Fabia will boast of up to seventeen 'Simply Clever' features which include an ice scraper in the fuel filler cap. The Fabia is Skoda's first model to come with MirrorLink technology that allows drivers to control smartphone apps from the infotainment screen via a USB connection.
Other smart features include a multimedia device cradle in the centre console, bigger storage for bottles in the rear doors and a glove compartment, parking ticket holder on the left-side A-pillar and two (optional) hooks in the trunk.
