2015 Mahindra XUV500 Facelift Launched; Priced at Rs. 11.21 Lakh

Talking about the cosmetic changes, the vehicle now has a revised front fascia, thanks to the new chrome grille, head-lamps with black treatment, L-shaped chrome-finished fog-lamp housings, and S-shaped LED daytime running lamps.



The rear of the car, too, looks slightly refreshing with the revised rear door and chrome garnished number plate enclosure; and yet, the rear profile looks quite similar to the outgoing model. The cabin, too, looks similar to the old model, though the dashboard sees a slight revision in terms of shade.

Like we mentioned above, the vehicle has no dearth of features; it gets an engine start-stop button, a 7-inch infotainment touch-screen, revised infotainment system, reverse parking camera, updated navigation system, aluminium finish pedals, electrically-adjustable driver seat, 17-inch alloy wheels, and sunroof among other provisions. However, one must note that most of these features might be offered with the new top-end variant only.

The company claims to have revised the suspension setup in order to improve its ride quality and high-speed stability. The car's ESP (Electronic Stability programme) system too has been updated, thus helping the car perform better around corners. The powertrain, the 2.2 mHawk, continues to deliver the same power output, but is now slightly more frugal. Compared to the old version's 15Km/l, the 2015 XUV500 now returns 16Km/l.
