2014 Skoda Superb to be launched on February 10th
Highlights
Unveiled at the 2014 Auto Expo, the new Skoda Superb facelift will be launched on 10th February. The updated Superb has received changes both on the inside and out, which make it look sportier than before.
The Superb facelift now wears the company's new family face with a butterfly grille, revised fog and headlamps, new bonnet and reworked bumper. The rear of the car sports a revised tail lamp cluster with part LEDs.
Moreover, the license plate has been moved to the boot-lid from the bumper. The side profile of the car remains almost unchanged, except for the new alloy wheels. Inside the cabin, the car receives a new three-spoke steering wheel and push-start stop button.
Since, it is just a mid-life makeover, there are no mechanical changes made to the car. It will continue to come with a 2.0-litre TDI diesel and a 1.8-litre TSI petrol mill, capable of churning out a maximum power output of 138bhp and 158bhp, respectively.
Skoda India will also launch the new 2014 Yeti, this year.
