The automotive market has been growing and this is a good sign for car manufacturers. It is, because they can launch more cars in the coming months and give customers a variety to choose from. Last month has been a chaotic one and we saw a host of new launches from car manufacturers and hence we saw a boom in the department of sales too. We bring to you, the ten best selling cars last month and here's the list.
It doesn't come as a surprise to see Maruti Suzuki leading the pack. In fact the top four cars in the list are all from the Maruti Suzuki stable. Leading the pack is the Dzire (21866 units), followed by the Alto (21115 units), the Swift (17313 units) and finally the Wagon R (13221 units).
The monotony is then broken by a brand that shows a lot of promise - Hyundai. Expecting to grow by 1 percent each year and working towards that plan, Hyundai have managed to attract the attention of buyers by selling more than ten thousand units of the new i20. The Grand i10 takes sixth place as it manages to get 8970 units out of the factory.
Maruti Suzuki's Celerio is the fifth car in the line-up and stands at 7th position with 8078 units to its name. The first sedan in the list grabs the 8th spot, with the Honda City gaining popularity among consumers. The Amaze too brings in the moolah for Honda as it scrapes into 9th place.
And finally, the lone Mahindra car, which has been the best-selling car for the company completes the top 10 list. Yes, it's the Bolero and it has been doing consistently well for Mahindra. No wonder they're working towards sprucing it up and bringing out an all-new version soon.
