Highlights

  • While it doesn't make as much power as the Rimac, it is still faster
  • The C21c boasts a power to weight ratio of 1:1 which makes it fast
  • It is a green vehicle supporting all kinds of e-fuels and electric motor

American startup Czinger Vehicles has finally revealed its 21C hypercar in its production-spec which was unveiled in 2020. All this while, Czinger has been perfecting its concept since 2020 and from what it unveiled there are a bunch of upgrades including top speed, a wider stance, and other enhancements that boost its performance from the original concept. Overall the vehicle is 2050 mm wide and it is powered by a sophisticated hybrid system that pairs 2 electric motors with a custom twin-turbocharged 2.88- litre flat-plane crank V8. The 2 motors power the front wheels developing a total output of a whopping 1,250 bhp with 932 kW of power deployed. These are impressive numbers even when compared to hypercars like the Rimac Nevera considering its upper light at 1,240 kg beating a 1:1 power to weight ratio. It also gets an all-wheel-drive setup.

With it boasting an incredible power to weight ratio, it is faster than the Rimac Nevera

It matches the figures that Elon Musk has started for the Tesla Roadster - giving out a mental 100 kmph in just 1.9 seconds. This makes it even quicker than the Rimac Nevera. The Czinger can achieve 300 kmph in just 13.8 seconds and  400 kph in 21.3 seconds. Its top speed scales to 452 kmph from the 423 kmph that the company had claimed originally. It can complete a quarter-mile distance in 8.1 seconds but the speed is not revealed.

Czinger says that it has an additional 74 kW or 100 bhp so technically, the car actually has a 1,350 bhp. The car also adds an ultralight 7-speed automated manual gearbox which has been designed to make the car eco-friendly. The car can also run on a variety of fuel types including carbon recycled methanol, and e-fuels which can make sure that it operates as a zero-emissions vehicle. The plan is to just produce 80 21C hypercars.
