While the One offers a twin-battery setup, the cheaper Simple scooters are likely to get a single battery pack, with a sharper focus on utility.
Despite being cheaper than the One, the new Simple e-scooters will still be priced above the ₹ 1 lakh mark.
A long-range variant of the One – with two removable battery packs – is still on the cards, but its price could inch quite close to the ₹ 2 lakh mark.
Simple has previously confirmed it intends to fulfil all existing orders – in excess of 1 lakh units – in the next 8 to 10 months, but has had a slow start, targeting delivery of 100 units in June.
